Following a competitive agent selection process, CBRE was engaged by the receiver via a court-order to conduct the distressed sale of Southview Gardens. Southview Gardens is a 140-unit apartment and townhouse complex located in South Vancouver, which offered an exceptional 6.58-acre residential redevelopment opportunity. CBRE prepared comprehensive underwriting and analysis to maximize the stabilized income of the existing asset. Additionally, CBRE executed an extensive print and digital marketing campaign, which allowed for domestic and international exposure of the opportunity. CBRE held a modified bid process in which five offers to purchase were received. Ultimately, CBRE obtained an unconditional offer from the second lender and successfully completed the transaction.
